It’ s time for another wrap up of my attempt at a capsule wardrobe. As I said in the last post, I have gotten rid of a few pieces of clothing I really didn’t like. I remember when I bought them. It was something that you buy not because you are totally in love with it or even like it. It’s a piece of clothing you buy because it is the best you can do at that time. This is something that I think we all deal with. Well, most of us anyway. The hardest part for me was my change of four dress sizes in three weeks. It wasn’t expected. I went to so many stores when that happened just to get anything that fit. That I think is one of the reasons I wanted to try a capsule wardrobe finally. I’ve found a few online retailers and physical retailers in my size. I am on my way to getting a wardrobe I want.
So that brings me to the of wearing my capsule wardrobe. Summer is beginning to wind down up here. I am looking at the fall and winter side of my wardrobe and want to get into it. I don’t know if I am going to buy anything in fall. I suppose I don’t NEED to, but what if I find something I really want. I think I will allow myself to get it. I have to really love it is something I need to remind myself. Sort of like I did with my floral Keds. I had my eyes on those for two years. (Check on Instagram)
I am also going to show you what I have for bracelets. I have a lot of bracelets. I definitely need to wind them down a bit. Weeding out my accessories is definitely one space that needs attention. Right now I am just going through them. Seeing what I have. Here are a few of the looks I’ve done over the past few weeks:

Most of my other days are spent in just the same jeans or black pants and a t-shirt. These days are from the times I forced myself to get out of the house and do something. Even then, I don’t wear a lot of different things. I’m not going out to eat or on any date nights. Right now, with more cases on the rise I try not to go out at all.
I’ve started the cull of my fall and winter wardrobe. There is one top that I keep taking in and out of the donate bag. It is a more formal top. I’d wear it to work or out to a restaurant. It looks okay, I’m not in love with it, but I don’t have anything else similar to it. That makes me want to keep it. A just in case top for under my suit. The suit I keep for weddings, funerals and the like. Maybe I’ll post a photo to my Instagram with it.
I promised you bracelets. Here is what I have:

As future posts go I will update which bracelets I have gotten rid of and which ones I’ve kept in the new year. Do you have an accessory issue in your wardrobe? I hope you enjoyed your update on my journey to trying to build a capsule wardrobe. There is still a lot to do, but I’m getting there.
