Ten Basic Ideas of Self Care



Stress is so common in everyday life.  We always try to do “one more thing” before we turn in for the night.  We do know however, that being under constant strain is not good for our psyche, body or relationships.  When was the last time you took a day for yourself?  Not a day to play “catch up” but a day to play “slow down.”  We all need some time alone.  The following is a list of ideas to start you out on the road to relaxation.

  1. Free TV day
  2. Read all day
  3. Sleep
  4. Talk to a professional
  5. Meditate
  6. Create
  7. Try a new exercise class
  8. Journal
  9. Eat Clean for 24 hours
  10. Go somewhere new.
